What is your definition of a leader? What are some qualities of a leader?
A leader is a person who everyone respects and be able to rely on whenever an obstacle arises. To me, a leader must be someone who is orientated, determined and makes proper decisions.
How have you been a leader (and not) in the time you have been in school? Reflect on your goals, and the gaps in your life, and the promises you have kept, and broken. How do you intend to restore those gaps, and do better in the next lap?
Nope, I would say that most of the time in school, I have been more of a follower. However, at times during work, I would still take the role as an leader to organize and make important decisions. In this new year 2010, my aim is to strive harder to create better works for everyone to see and recognize my effort.
What are some areas you could lead in design? Be specific.
I think one area that i could lead in design, would most probably be the concept. As I want to expertise in advertising, thus conceptualizing would definitely have to be my ace.
How do you intend to be a leader in your upcoming assignment, career, and life? What are you going to do to make it happen?
In the upcoming assignment for our IMC Campaign, I hope that I would be leader in organizing the group to have the same concept, motivation to ace and also to have a common goal among all of us. To make this goal a success, I would first set myself as the an example and motivate the others. In my future career and life, I want to be a leader in the advertising industry. With this aim, I would definitely work doubly hard and be more serious in my work to reach it.
