ELEVENTH finger..
Last friday was the last week of school, that is also the last lesson for every module for Semester 3.
We just handed in our Assignment 5 (Packaging), and now, we have been given a new one. Assignment 6, Advertising. This shall be an assignment which the brief is taken from DNAD. The client that we would be working for is, Metro.
Metro is a newspaper published in london. It is given as a free newspaper to passer-by every morning, just like the ‘Today’ newspaper we have in Singapore. Its target audience are the Urbanites, who are age ranging from 18~35 years old.
So far, the work in progress that I have done this week are some sketches of ideas and strap lines. I came up with more than 20 sketches of ideas and strap lines. Finally, after a few consultations with our lecturer, we have decided to narrow down and work on one particular idea. I have also done some sketches on how the advertisement could be placed as an ambient ad.
Thus, for the holidays and remaining time left before the deadline, I would be working more on the art direction for the advertisement, like how is the advertisement colour mood going to be, etc. I would be finding for more reference from the internet and books in the libraries.
